Gigi Torres is originally from Irvine, CA, she has been training in all genres of dance from the age of 3. She is an world renowned instructor & choreographer, sharing her knowledge and love for dance in conventions, workshops, and master classes on the East Coast to the West Coast and overseas in Europe, Asia, South America, Africa, and Australia.



Gigi's choreography credits are So You Think You Can Dance Scandinavia, Ukraine, & Poland, Korean Pop Sensation "Girl's Generation" Japan Tour (Assistant Choreographer), Indonesian Artist, Indah Dewi Pertiwi (Co-Choreographer), Bobby Brackins, Zoe Myers, Richard Tanumi, and German Artist, Clara. She has choreographed for well-respected groups including Kaba Modern, Funkanometry, and Breed Dance Company. She is the Director/Founder of the All-Female Dance Company "Essence" that consists of the top working ladies in the dance industry.



Gigi is a woman's activist and will continue to fight for women to not be afraid to let their light shine in this entertainment industry. She believes dance is not only a passion, but a blessing for life lessons. Gigi's lives by the motto "Inspire & Be Inspired" in hopes that the community and industry will continue to go live their dreams through inspiration and light.

Little Stars:
Is a class especially designed for teens with a dancing background. L.A’s choreographer Gigi Torres and her assistant Asaki Imai will teach a total of 6 hours class for any teen who wants to enroll.
The classes will take place at El Sawy Culturewheel on the 9th – 10th – 11th – 12th of December from 6pm till 7.30 pm.

Gold class:
Is a class designed for anyone with a good dancing background. Our guest choreographer Gigi Torres and her assistant will be teaching a total of 8 hours class for any interested dancers.
The classes will take place at El Sawy Culturewheel on the 9th – 10th – 11th – 12th of December from 8.30pm till 10.30 pm.

REGISTRATIONS FOR THE WORKSHOP AT EL SAWY CULTUREWHEEL from 4th till the 30th of November. Limited places so come and book you spot now!

TENTANG AFFANDI Affandi sendiri adalah kelahiran Cirebon pada 1907. Dia putra dari R. Koesoema, seorang mantri ukur di pabrik gula di Ciledug, Cirebon. Pendidikan formalnya cukup tinggi, mulai dari HIS, MULO hingga AMS di jaman Belanda. Namun, bakat seni lukisnya yang sangat kental mengalahkan disiplin ilmu lain dalam kehidupannya, dan memang menjadikan namanya tenar sama dengan tokoh bidang lainnya. Pada umur 26 tahun, pada 1933, Affandi menikah dengan Maryati, gadis kelahiran Bogor. Affandi dan Maryati dikaruniai seorang putri yang nantinya akan mewarisi bakat ayahnya sebagai pelukis, yaitu Kartika Affandi. Sebelum mulai melukis, Affandi pernah menjadi guru dan pernah juga bekerja sebagai tukang sobek karcis dan pembuat gambar reklame bioskop di salah satu gedung bioskop di Bandung. Pekerjaan ini tidak lama digeluti karena Affandi lebih tertarik pada bidang seni lukis. Sekitar tahun 30-an, Affandi bergabung dalam kelompok Lima Bandung, yaitu kelompok lima pelukis Bandung bersam
